Awaken

In the long-term use of the weapon, it will continue to absorb the Houkai energy, thereby awakening one's consciousness, this state is called awakening. And because this situation is mostly seen on divine tools that have the power of gods, this state is also called Divine Awakening.

Each Awaken is considered as a god / godhead in the Babylon.

Overview

Awaken (or Kizuna in EN client) is one of the content where you can see the background information of character and their side stories. Players can set their owned Awakens as 1 of 10 main menu backgrounds.

Most of gear awakens does reward crystals and resonators when reaching certain amount of intimacy. Some gears may have multiple different awakens depending on upgrade so it is suggested to clear all rewards before reaching next Awaken.

How to find Awaken-eligible equipment and start the progress

⚠️It is recommended for all players to keep any non-awaken equipment (especially gacha one) as they may get Awaken in a future version without early notices.⚠️

A simple way to identify if an equipment is eligible for Awaken or not is to look at the bottom border of the equipment. The said special equipment will have the star border background.

It is much easier to identify an equipment that comes with Awaken when looking at equipment with the left ribbon in Equipdex.

Another way to quickly identify an equipment that comes with Awaken without having to look for them in Equipdex is to use the preview function (by tap at unowned equipment in shop). This allows players to quickly find Awaken that may appear in shop or gacha screen.

To perform awakening progress with eligible equipment, go to equipment stat screen and tap at the heart lock, it will ask you the material to perform the Awaken.
