Plot
Master Takema
In the previous generation, there was a Zen master named Takema. The master saw its sharpness and wisdom, presented with a sword of meditation, and protected it in his practices.
Later, in troubled times, big names fight against each other, the world eats each other, mountain temples fall into the hands of big names, disciples die at the front of chaotic soldiers, bones are seen on the road, blood flows everywhere. When the Zen master saw it, he becomes a demon, the sword broke and absorbs demonic power.
In one night, 8000 soldiers were in chaos; within half a decade, the daimyo's clan was gone. Shikoku trembled, Kyushu was terrified, everyone in the world wants to kill him, so they set up an ambush in an ancient temple. The Zen master died from this, and his sword was ordained.
After that, Hokushin Mei was born, with the responsibility of revitalizing Hokushin's swordsmanship and making it famous all over the world, she found this sword in the mountains.
The fierce heart of her swordsmanship coincides with the meaning of the demon sword to kill. The woman and the blade are one, unparalleled in the world.

Hokushin Mei, who seeks a master, meets a girl named Tatara Black Maple in the Cursed Forest, and insists on looking for her sister Tatara White Sakura with her. When they met, Hokushin Mei's mind was bewildered by Umbrella Demon Chikage, and there was no other way to save her except to defeat herself. However, Chikage took advantage of this gap and the scourge that had been buried in Black Maple's body to control the two sisters, and wanted to take the opportunity to take Hokushin Mei's husk for itself. However, it didn't succeed, instead was broken because it inspired an unknown force in Hokushin Mei's body. And Hokushin Mei was almost in a state of being swallowed because of her strength. As a result, the two sisters used their last strength to seal the unknown power, and the story of the encounter of the three came to an end.

- Supernatural Swordsmanship: In the Demon Sword lore, the previous owner turned into demon by using this sword, killed 8000 soldiers in 1 night and destroyed a daimyo's clan within half a decade.
- Slash Projection: The weapon can project the slashing effect of itself as if it was a projectile.
- Reality Slash: The weapon allows to tear apart or rip out slivers and/or chunks of the spacetime continuum, can hit multiple enemies in 1 slash and in all directions.
Retrospect
Since that day, Hokushin Mei has set up tombstones for Black Maple and White Sakura, and sweeps their graves. And at this moment, she came across with reality, and met Raiden Mei which is also a Hokushin Ittō-ryū user. Because of differences in views on Hokushin Mei's sword style, the two began a battle. It was this battle that awakened the sealed power in Hokushin Mei and the Black Maple and White Sakura that had been sealing this power in her body. Realizing that she has always been protected by others, Hokushin Mei also realized the significance of Hokushin's swordsmanship: this is a sword technique that exists to protect people. With this, she defeated Chikage and the two sisters finally fell asleep.
After that, Hokushin Mei left Black Maple and White Sakura and lived in seclusion in a small village in Shinano. The last thing Ronin left behind was her own swordsmanship. In order to prevent the loss of swordsmanship, she passed it to the children in the village.

Fu Hua's New story - Eastbound (1477)
Hokushin Mei, who was corroded by Honkai Energy, killed countless people in the area, and encountered Fu Hua, who was looking for the Far East Honkai Energy. Under the attack of Mei, who was possessed by Honkai Energy and had a maddened attitude of not listening to people's words, Fu Hua brought her down with just one move. When she finally saw someone who could defeat her, Mei was very happy. She wanted to end her life for perfection, but was stopped by Fu Hua. On the one hand, Fu Hua asked her to save her life, and at the same time, in order to monitor the Houkai, she kept Mei by her side, and on the other hand. Mei followed Fu Hua, always looking for opportunities. The two began their journey in the Far East.

Fu Hua and Hokushin Mei talked about the Umbrella Demon, which made Fu Hua feel that there might be something related to the Houkai in this area. At this time, a white kitsune appeared in front of them, and under its leadership, the two came to a shrine, only to find that the shrine was robbed. Mei chased the bandits away, but Shion the Miko was seriously injured. When she was dying, she entrusted "Lord God" White Kitsune to the two of them and passed away.
In the middle of the night when Shion was buried, Mei heard the call of the white kitsune. In this way, the White Kitsune relies on the Houkai energy in Mei's body and its own resentment, combined with Shion, to turn into a demon to seek revenge for the thief. However, even if it was to kill a sinner, she could not let Honkai kill wantonly. Fu Hua took action to stop the demonized Shion. In order to fulfill her promise to Shion, Fu Hua chose to liberate the white kitsune that was eroded by the Houkai and hatred, while the white kitsune who couldn't let go of Shion stayed with the master forever. The incident was over, and the bandits also promised to abide by their duty and be virtuous, and at the same time enshrined the White Kitsune. They told Fu Hua the Yae Village that there was a demon kitsune at work. After hearing about it, Fu Hua and Hokushin Mei rode Jingwei again and set off.

On the road of Yae Village, Fu Hua and Mei found that Yae Village had been bloodbathed by someone unknown. While searching for survivors, the 2 found Kallen Kaslana lying in the shrine. After giving emergency treatment to her, Kallen let go of her guard against the two and revealed the truth of the Yae Village massacre - the witch Yae Sakura, who originally prayed for the village's blessings, was infected by Honkai after her sister was sacrificed by the village and the whole village becomes a bloodbath.
Kallen is convinced that Yae Sakura has not been completely eroded by Honkai, and is best to save her. These thoughts coincided with Fu Hua's mission to eliminate the Honkai, so the 3 of them teamed up and began to follow the traces of Yae Sakura along the blood trail. However, just as things gradually began to take shape, a group of troops calling themselves the Knights of War surrounded the 3, and the knight named Zofia ordered Kallen to return the stolen "God Box" to the Schicksal Church, otherwise, everyone present will not be spared. Without much speculation, the Hokushin Mei directly clashed with Zofia. However, in the face of Zofia's powerful strength, Hokushin Mei was losing ground. At the critical moment, Fu Hua called Jingwei to rescue the 3.
After escaping from the pursuit, Kallen revealed the whole story under the questioning of the 2. Kallen was originally a member of the Schicksal Church, and the "God Box" is an evil prop that hosts the Houkai. After the Schicksal Church used the "God Box" to cause various tragedies, Kallen decided to steal it and travel across the ocean. However, Schicksal refused to let it go, the endless escaping and chasing exhausted Kallen's physical strength, and she was rescued by Yae Sakura when her life was hanging. However, what Kallen never expected was that the Honkai energy in the God Box she carried had eroded Yae Sakura, magnified her heartache of losing her sister, and eventually turned into the current tragedy of Yae Village. After hearing this, Fu Hua decided to help to the end and rescue Yae Sakura, but at the same time, Zofia has also located all the information of Yae Sakura, and the Knights of War has turned its direction and is ready to go all out to crusade Yae Sakura and retake the box of God.
Afterwards, Fu Hua negotiated with the 2, Kallen went to save Yae Sakura, Fu Hua and Zofia fought to delay time, and Mei assisted Kallen in intercepting the knights. In the end, Yae Sakura got redemption and rested, and agreed with Kallen. 3 days later, Kallen officially set off after burying Yae Sakura and the villagers. Hokushin Mei and Fu Hua also went to Europe for their own reasons.

In the dungeon, Hokushin Mei, who was unwilling to endure the humiliation of the prison, expressed that she wanted to ask Schicksal for an explanation, but Fu Hua didn't interfere with it based on the principle of obeying human laws. As the saying goes, there is not much speculation. Seeing that Fu Hua had no intention of leaving, Hokushin Mei broke the cell, knocked down the guards, and took off the other party's clothes in an attempt to escape. However, the good times didn't last long, and Hokushin Mei soon lost her way in the dungeon. While she was going around, she found that somewhere in the dungeon, there was a large group of prisoners with festering bodies and bleeding. Just when Hokushin Mei felt strange, a soldier wearing a birdman mask - the Apocalypse Plague Knights came to the scene.
Hokushin Mei quickly discovered the tricky things in it, but the guys who claimed to be "doctors" had the same bloodthirsty aura as her. As the so-called enemy's road is narrow, in the laboratory of the Apocalypse Plague, Hokushin Mei met the culprit who caused all this - Rvy, it turned out that these refugees were all prepared for the experiment of God Box. However, in the face of the sudden criticism and crisis, Rvy compiled a set of belief lies to re-bewitch these refugees. Hokushin Mei was forced to fight alone, but without Fu Hua's restraint, the Houkai in her body was gradually activated with the killing intent, and thus gained the upper hand in the battle. When Rvy saw this, she activated the God Box. The refugees present died one after another, and Hokushin Mei was also severely injured to a certain extent. On the verge of defeat, Fu Hua, who felt the aura of the Houkai, rushed to the rescue in time, and Rvy had to retreat temporarily.
The Houkai energy in Mei's body is showing signs of reviving again because Rvy used God Box. Although Fu Hua is very concerned about the whereabouts of the God Box, under this situation, she still intends to leave the dungeon first to save Hokushin Mei. However, the Knights of Apocalypse soon chased after them again. As Hokushin Mei's body deteriorated, Fu Hua made up her mind and punched out of the encirclement with all her strength, and then escaped from the dungeon under the arrangement of Kallen and Otto Apokalypse.
Herrscher of Sentience incident
Mei, who had been hiding in the safe house prepared by Otto for a long time, secretly set aside the safe house in the middle of the night because she couldn't stand boredom. Looking for the tavern, Mei accidentally met the Herrscher of Sentience, and mistook her as Fu Hua, who was secretly following Meu, but HoS was met by the chasing soldiers of Schicksal on the way while wandering around. After a lot of "acting chivalry and righteousness" by mistake, Hokushin Mei, who returned to the safe house alone, knew that Fu Hua had not gone out overnight.

In the captial of Schicksal, Fu Hua, Mei, Kallen and Otto was in a safe house. Fu Hua and Mei decided to go out of the safe house to scout the area.
During the night, Hokushin Mei was ambushed by the Death Knights and Mei succesfully fend off some of them.
The leader of the Death Knights appeared in front of Mei, at the same time as Iron Maiden's voice sounded, the moon seemed to turn red. Hokushin Mei knew very well that this was just an illusion. This is just the same as the former self, because of too much killing, the horrible curse exuded by the body even distorts people's consciousness.
While in the combat, the leader of Death Knight's weapon suddenly transformed into a huge steel coffin, opening the spike-filled interior to block in front of Mei. Although Mei barely avoided falling into it with the sword, the sword's blade suddenly broke into pieces...
Hokushin Mei knelt and placed the fragment of the sword in her hand.
With the help of Fu Hua, who came to the rescue, both of them successfully retreated from leader of Death Knight - Iron Maiden. When the 2 returned to the safe house, they found that Kallen had disappeared, so they decided to split up and search for her.
On the streets of the Schicksal Capital, groups of soldiers patrolled and were heavily guarded. Hokushin Mei tries to sneak but was discovered. She subconsciously swung out the sword, but found out that the blade is gone, quickly run away from the guards.
Mei, who lost her beloved sword, was saddened by her weakness. She once wanted to devote herself to the Shadow of Houkai, but was stopped by Black Maple and White Sakura in her body.
Mei found Kallen and Otto confronted Iron Maiden at her own mansion, and this time Mei was finally trapped inside Iron Maiden's huge steel coffin space.
In order to repay Kallen's kindness, Mei gave up restraint and forcibly drew out the Honkai energy in her body, transforming herself into demon and destroyed the coffin space, directly confront against Iron Maiden.
The Iron Maiden took the initiative to withdraw after she fell into a disadvantage and let everyone go. And Hokushin Mei, who could no longer able to reverse back to normal form, also decided to part ways with Kallen and others.
