History
This wiki was started back in June 2014 as one of the earliest wikis exist for the Houkai Gakuen 2 game, under the name of Guns Girl Z Wiki, hosted on Wikia platform. The wiki was abandoned in 2017 as the English server started to degrade in quality and there is no one left to maintain the wiki. Over many years, the said for-profit wiki platform had made many critical issues making the wiki become unusable.
In Janurary 2021, user Max20091 was decided that most of the contents of the old wiki was not salvageable, and it was best to start from scratch. In the progress, the wiki also changes the name of Guns Girl Z wiki into Houkai Gakuen 2 Wiki to fit with the original Chinese name of the game.
The rebuilt wiki was made with highly portable codes, along with many issues caused by Wikia's advertisements and bad decisions, which was the premise of forking itself to the new wiki hosting platform: Miraheze. The user denounce the previous for-profit wiki[1] and started forking the old wiki to the new Miraheze platform. The forking process took less than a week, done at May 24 2022.
