A sigh of life and death
Lauria is the mom of Loyne. Loyne had neurovascular atrophy in her arms, and the symptoms got worse as she got older. Because of this, her mother started researching human body modification technology and replaced Loyne hand with active metal robotic arm.
- In the 35th year of the Legion Era, Lauren switched from robots to studying human body modification and became a rising genius in this field.
- In the 40th year of the Legion Era, on the eve of the collapse of the First Legion. The Southern Legion secretly occupied the border of the First Legion, and cooperated with Lauren Kliman to launch large-scale human modification experiments in the name of the 'First Legion', and name the experimental area "Crimson Zone" and the experimental plan "Divine Creation Experiment". The experiments in the 'Crimson Zone' focus on mechanization of the human body, aiming to create 'a life that perfectly combines human intelligence and machinery'. Including Loyne Kliman, the vast majority of the Kliman family, and a large number of civilians in Nice were thrown into the 'Crimson Zone'.
- In the years that followed, brutal and inhumane experiments were carried out, and none of the subjects survived. The survivors were also transformed into inhuman appearances, and part of the body was turned into pure mechanical tissue. Loyne is also one of them, her arm was transformed into a metal machine, thus gaining the highly active metal stigmata ability.
- In the 42th year of the Legion Era. The secret of the 'Crimson Zone' has alarmed many forces, including the Eastern Legion, and can no longer be covered up. In addition, the most ambitious goal of 'Perfect Life' has never been achieved, so the Southern Legion's masterminds decided to bury this experiment, along with its darkest secrets. In July of that year, the Southern Legion cut off the supply of materials to the 'Crimson Zone' and sent special stigmata troops to sweep the 'Crimson Zone' with the intention of killing all surviving subjects.
In the end, the sweep was completed, and the secret of the Southern Legion was successfully concealed. The 'Crimson Zone' was destroyed as the 'remnants of the First Legion'. However... during the sweep by the Special Stigma Force, there were still a few bodies left. Among them are Lauren and Loyne.
Lauria's last diary
"...Clear."
"The watchers sent by the Southern Legion are still monitoring me today... There is no way to see my daughter. They can only watch her with electronic eyes through the robot's mobile chip."
"Loyne seems to have grown a little taller... but she is still so thin... I feel very distressed."
"I always wonder... if I hadn't studied human body modification, wouldn't this situation have happened today? It is precisely because of the achievements of human body modification technology that I was favored by the Southern Legion, so that we ushered in such bad luck."
"...Moreover, the field of robotics that I'm most devoted to research has always been in the field of robotics."
"However, when I think about my daughter having free arms, I feel less regretful - maybe this is the only thing that can comfort me now, right?"
"...After being forced to conduct experiments for a day, I can finally come back here and conduct my own research... But... can I research the 'thing' that I have my heart set on?"
...
"...Negative."
"5 more cases of human body modification were completed, 4 of which failed. I watched their bodies being sent to the crematorium."
"...If it was me at the beginning, I would have been unable to eat and vomited for 3 days because of this kind of thing, but now I can accept this fact so calmly... I have to feel horrible for being so cruel."
"The newly sent watcher from the Southern Legion praised me for having the 'naturally cold-blooded' talent required by top researchers. Although I sneered in my heart, I was also a little confused because of it."
"...Controlled the robot and helped Krenhil resist the attacks of other subjects. Finally returned to the laboratory... Now only this cold machine can calm my mood."
...
"...Partly cloudy."
"I feel like I'm becoming more and more divided."
"Although I can argue that the deaths of those subjects were all under the oppression of the superiors of the Southern Legion, so I had to do it. But I also fully understand that the direct cause of these deaths is me - I am a sinner .”
"...However, no matter how hard I blame myself, my mood has become more and more indifferent, like a stone. It is increasingly difficult for those conscience reproaches to cause my emotional fluctuations - what will I become in the future? ...I feel vaguely scared.”
"The only thing worth being happy about is Loyne... She is no longer easily bullied, and her body is getting stronger."
"Back in the laboratory... My research still has not made any progress, but there is a new direction... it seems I can give it a try."
...
"...Clear."
"It's beyond my expectation! Things that originally seemed different can actually be connected together!"
"I successfully created the 'Biological Houkai Nano Liquid Robot'! But I needed a place to hide them - I chose my own body without hesitation... let them thrive deep in my body. I'm looking forward to... whether they can develop their own consciousness."
"In addition, more and more guards are being sent by the Southern Legion...the atmosphere is a bit strange... I'm very worried about Loyne's future."
...
"...Negative."
"I guessed what the superiors of the Southern Legion wanted to do... They wanted to destroy this experimental area and annihilate the evidence they left behind!"
"...Fortunately, I was vigilant enough and successfully escaped from the experimental area, and even escaped the pursuit of the Houkai Knights."
"...Although death is the most correct ending for me... but there are still two things I can't worry about - one is Loyne, and the other is the 'nanobot' inside my body."
"... I controlled the young robot guarding Loyne to escape from the experimental area and disintegrate before the rescuer arrived... I cannot leave any evidence... I cannot let anyone know that I have anything to do with Krenhil... From now on, she has to live her own life.”
"...These nanorobots seem to be affected by my bioelectricity and consciousness, and they have begun to gradually develop some simple intelligence... It's really amazing."
...
"...Rainy."
"Several years have passed since the experimental area was destroyed."
"Today, I found an abandoned factory to take shelter from the rain. Changkong City is nearby. I plan to use this place as my future base of operations. After escaping from the 'Crimson Zone', Loyne successfully entered Houkai Gakuen to study. But she should have changed her name, I don't know what her name is now... But it doesn't matter, there is always a chance to meet her."
"...Although, I never thought of meeting her - at most I just looked at her from a distance."
"The nanorobots inside my body have been feeding on the biological energy and consciousness in my body, and are constantly expanding their population. If you could see through my body, you would definitely find that my body is already filled with patches of silver metallic liquid, hehe..."
"Although I have often fallen into a state of malnutrition and confusion recently because I have to provide food for the nanorobots, it is worth it. These nanorobots have actually cultivated a complex intelligent race in my body, and even called me the honorific 'Gods' formed the simple religion of primitive times."
"It's amazing..."
"Every time I go to bed at night, I can hear them praying to me or talking to each other... just like taking care of Loyne at night... I miss her..."
"The potential of life and intelligence is so great, even in such a tiny existence, its power can be demonstrated. Whenever I feel the nanorobots in my body, I will spontaneously feel the joy and awe of life - these tiny robots is now my only motivation to move forward."
"However... I still have to find food for these nano-robots... After I stopped the nutritional supply and the supply of bioelectricity as a carrier of consciousness, a large number of nano-robots degenerated and became what their tribe calls 'intelligent beings' , just know how to simply squirm..."
...
"...Clear."
"...The consciousness activities of nanorobots are becoming more and more complex. Sometimes I feel that what I'm facing is not a new intelligent machine created by myself, but a civilization with an infinite future..."
"...Although it sometimes feels a bit noisy, it's pretty good..."
...
"...Rainy..."
"...I found a way to maintain the existence of these nanobots."
"...the nutrients they need are not simple energy supplies, but complex bioelectricity and bioenergy with the participation of human consciousness."
"...But...if I want to do this, I have to..."
"..."
...
"...Rainy"
"...can't do this"
"...Absolutely not..."
…
"...Clear."
"...There's nothing left to say."
"...I have sinned once again. And this time there is no excuse."
"...The moment I regained consciousness, I started vomiting when I looked at the corpse."
"...Despite this, I have no reason to shirk responsibility..."
"...If I want to face it head-on, why not just surrender?"
"...Isn't it because you are too cowardly?"
"...Perhaps everything was doomed since I was forced to preside over the 'Crimson Boundary' experiment, but I didn't have the courage to die rather than surrender."
"...But, I still want to see Loyne again."
...
"...Clear."
"...I have calmed down a lot recently."
"...the population of nanorobots has been nourished by other human beings' conscious bioelectricity, and their complexity has increased to a higher level - even individuals with ultra-high intelligence have been born among them."
"...In their personal cognition, they even called each other 'boy' and 'girl', and they also developed the courage and vision to pursue freedom."
"...What a wonderful creation this is?"
"...From the birth of life to the pursuit of freedom, in just a few years, they have completed the path that human life has taken for hundreds of millions of years. Where will they go next... I can't help but think so .”
"...However, my thinking has become slower and slower recently... I always like to take a nap..."
"...I want to see Loyne..."
…
"...Rain."
"...I almost got caught. There was a woman with a very scary smell."
"...But, I'm a god, so it doesn't matter."
"...I just need to take care of my people."
"...But, there is Loyne..."
"...etc."
"...Loyne is...who?"
...
"...Rainy."
"...Today I saw a woman carrying several swords."
"...I felt the aura of terror."
"...terrible, why is it terrifying?"
"...Why does it make me feel scared?"
"...I'm a god, I'm a god, I'm a god, I'm a god, I'm a god, I'm a god."
"...Wait, why... am I writing on this thing?"
...
"Loy...ne...is...outside, daugh...ter"
"Hear...the...sound"
