Houkai Gakuen 2 mainline
Raiden Mei has been the daughter of Massive Electric's president since she was a child, and has received the top education and training. Because she practiced Hokushin Ittō-ryū since she was a child, her physical strength was much higher than that of ordinary people.
ME then set up a senior research institute in the Senba Academy City, Mei moved to the academy city with her father and studied at Senba Academy. Raiden Mei's God Killer armor appeared in final form, chapter R15
Raiden Mei's God Killer Armor is the strongest weapon developed by Dr. MEI in the previous generation. It can be used by let it absorb massive amount of Houkai energy, so the necessary condition for using this armor is that the wearer is a Herrscher.
According to doctor in chapter R15, it was an extremely powerful weapon against the Will of Houkai. But even operating at low power, the armor can give extreme burden to the user.
- In chapter R15, Dr. MEI said if the person after using the armor is still alive then something must be wrong.
Where heart of the soul belongs
It is a superpower from the combination of Kiana and Mei, having these capabilities:
- Instant teleport anything, break any physic laws.
- Capable of splitting the "soul" from the body of a person, and the soul can actually see their bodies.
- Capable of reviving dead characters with a body (Kyuusyou, Yssring, Ninti, Bronya), cannot revive half-alive aka stuck in quantum (Seele, Sin Mal).
- Creating a reality distortion field equivalent to being in reality and a "dream" at the same time.
Retrospect
When Mei was investigating her father's traces, due to touching the source of Houkai, she turned into the third Herrscher, causing the Third Great Houkai.
Chapter 3: Strange Lighting
After the Third Great Houkai, Kiana Kaslana searched for the source of the Houkai in the Senba Academy and found Raiden Mei. At this time, Mei still retained some self-awareness, and escaped from Kiana after several battles to prevent herself from being completely controlled by Honkai and hurting her.
Chapter 4: Magic Railgun
However, Kiana has been chasing after her, and Mei even tried to use suicide to get rid of Houkai's control, but in the end she failed. The fully Herrscher-like Mei fights and is defeated by Kiana. Kiana absorbed the Houkai energy in Mei's body and turned it back into a human. After that, Raiden Mei and Kiana started their escape together. Before escaping from Academy City, the two resolved the Houkai consciousness from Mei's body possessed by the Arctic Fox body.

After leaving the academy, they defeated the pseudo-herrscher Yae Sakura and the Scarlet Demon Fox.
Chapter 8: Reason for Existence
After the two escaped from the academy, they encountered Bronya Zaychik, who was an Anti-Entropy spy. During the battle, Mei found that Bronya was only being manipulated.
Bronya showed a strong interest in Homu Paradise, Mei accommodated Bronya and went to Homu Paradise together.

- Mei is the second gacha character can be obtained without spending any crystals through a special mission in version 8.1. The first character can be obtained through this way is Bronya
- Mei's default design and chibi eyes in Retro are gray instead of purple since she never used Herrscher's abilities in Retrospect after the Senba Academy incident. Her eyes, however are purple for the entire length of Reborn timeline.
